Under regular circumstances, the main body of boilers averages a working life of over 15 years. As early as 1980s, our industrial boiler products have been listed among goods exempt from inspection in Beijing region. From quality to service, our products are well received by the State Bureau of technical Supervision and users such as the Great Hall of the People, Party School of the CPC Central Committee, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Culture, the Second Artillery of CPLA etc. Ranked as renowned products in Jiangsu province for successive 8 years, they have a ready domestic market (except Taiwai and Tibet) in all the provinces, autonomies and municipalities including Hongkong and Aomen. We lay great emphasis on the development of new products. With about 10 new products brought into being annually, we get into the benign cycle of product production, invention and development linking together, which renders our products most competitive in the ever-changing market. In an attempt to raise the efficiency of boilers and reduce environmental pollution caused by boilers in China, the World Bank and the Global Environmental Facility granted fund to Chinese government with $3000. Changzhou Boiler Co., LTD was selected as the chief demonstration base of GEF high efficiency industrial boilers by GEF, the World Bank and the Ministry of Machine-building Industry through rounds of appraisal by experts from domestic and abroad. Since then, we have sent three groups of technical personnel for training in Denmark. This contributes greatly to the improvement both in boiler design and manufacturing techniques. With the application of the first environment-friendly boiler, which is the product of GEF project, the operation efficiency of boilers has increased from 70% to more than 85% in the actual measurement of average heat efficiency and the air pollution decreased correspondingly. Now the product has been authorized to sell in market when it has passed acceptance examinations on related fund and from international experts. GEF project is beneficial both to the social and economic efficiency and opens up a new era for environmental friendly boilers. |
